Denis was CEO of McDonald’s France from 1996 to 2005, during which period France became the second most profitable country for the brand. From 2005 to 2011, he became head of McDonald’s Europe where he participated in the development of the brand with the launch of new recipes and a successful change of the brand’s image. During this period, Europe represented 20% of the brand outlets and 40% of its operating result.

 

He became CEO of Accor Group from 2011 to 2013 and set up an offensive growth strategy by reorganising the group’s brands and setting up an ambitious room opening policy.

 

Denis is currently Partner of French Food Capital and member of the Board for Eurostar, SSP, Bakkavor and John Lewis.
