Cyril Capliez graduated from HEC Paris in 1993, and began his career at Ernst & Young as a Project Manager. In 2002, he became advisor to the French Minister for Trade and Consumption, until 2007. At the same time, he also worked as advisor in charge of State modernization from 2004 to 2005, with the French Minister of the Civil Service and State Reform. In 2007, he joined the METRO group, first as Director of Public Affairs, before being appointed Strategy and Business Projects director for Southern Europe region. He has also lectured in Management and Economics at Paris-Dauphine University. He joined the Elior Group in June 2016. He is Vice-President and Treasurer of Food Service Europe, the organization representing the interests of European contract catering sector.
