On the theme of sports, nutrition and well-being, Elior Group, the leading catering company in France, has decided to support the bid of the City of Paris to organize the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Elior Group is one of the first five official partners announced by Bernard Lapasset, co-chairman of the Paris 2024 Committee, on Tuesday, February 9; the same day the Committee unveiled the logo that will represent its bid until 2017.

Supporting the Paris bid for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics goes beyond the idea of hosting the world’s largest sporting event. It’s about rallying around an extraordinary collective ambition. It means rooting for Paris, for France, for the sportsmanship and the winning spirit of a whole nation which wants the Games more than ever!” says Philippe Salle, Elior Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

“This is a first for the Elior Group, but not for Philippe Salle, who backed Paris' bid in the 2012 Games, as did I at his side. Our support for the City's bid is underpinned not only by our motivation and determination to win the Games, but also by our experience in this domain”, declared Frédéric Fougerat, Vice-President Communications for Elior Group.
