Gourmet holidays at Center Parcs resorts
The Group entered the family travel and leisure market in 2010 when the agreement with Center Parcs was signed. Today Areas is operating in 8 Center Parcs resorts including 5 in France and 3 in Germany. There, Areas has launched a dozen new concepts, ranging from buffet catering, a real haven for kids (Jungle Circus) to Cocoon Café, by nature a cozy place where people can meet anytime in the day. Original brands such as Accro Burger and P'tit Moulin have been implemented, renewing the fast-food concept. Aiming to ease vacationers’ lives, Areas has also enriched its offering with a delivery service (Deli'Very Service) and a catering format for snacks and meals that can be enjoyed in-between leisure activities.
Exhibition centers: a unique expertise in supporting major events
Organizers of major sporting, cultural and business events call on Areas for its proven expertise in providing temporary food-service solutions and its ability to cater for hundreds of thousands of guests.
The Group recently strengthened its leadership positions in the exhibition center catering markets in the greater Paris area, and in Catalonia, Spain, where it is the choice services provider for the two Fira de Barcelona exhibition centers. In its capacity as concession grantee for the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris, Areas has fully refurbished the food-services offering in Hall 2: the food counters which were previously dispersed around the hall have been replaced by a new modern food court. The new “Food Hall” now includes three complementary concepts: Paul, the first Cake & Coffee format, exclusively designed for the exhibition center’s operator, Viparis, and an innovative Red d’Hippo restaurant that fits the venue perfectly.
